The School of Sustainable Development and Green Economy was initiated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov in 2020. It is a consulting center providing expert support to Russian initiatives to achieve UN approved sustainable development goals for the period until 2030. The School contributes to the analytical work of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which facilitates the implementation of foreign policy projects in the field of "green economy", as well as the process of assisting Russia's participation in the World Food Summit through FAO (UN Food and Agriculture Organization).
